Welcome to Pawsitive Pet Sitting SB

Business is licensed & insured through PCI Insurance.

Are you looking for a pet sitter that will prioritize your pet? You have come to the right place. Instead of boarding your dog along with 30+ other dogs, myself and my employee(s) would stay at your house where your pet feels the most comfortable and loved.

My name is Maddy Segal and I have been caring for animals for 12+ years. I started this pet sitting business in 2018 and excited to watch it grow. I am so happy to be able to help so many owners in need of my services!

Resume

My name is Maddy Segal and I have been pet sitting for about 11+ years. I have experience with dogs, cats, rodents, rabbits, and reptiles. I am open to learning about caring for your other animals as well. I am a fast learner and LOVE animals!

I worked at a doggy daycare/boarding facility for 3 years and a dog shelter for 2 years. I am very dedicated to the care of animals and I am passionate of rescuing these beautiful creatures.

When I pet sit in your home I also appreciate and care for your home as well. I keep things clean and help with any gardening you ask and picking up mail/newspaper. I also make sure your home is clean and ready for you when you get back :)

Testimonials

Maddy is one of the most compassionate people I’ve ever met. She loves all animals big and small and takes exceptional care of them; with expert care, and understanding of dogs! I trust Maddy wholeheartedly, with my doberman, who is the love of my life. I know that I can count on Maddy to ensure that he will be well taken care of whenever I am out of town.
— Felicia G. (coworker & friend)
Maddy has been sitting for our dog, Sadie, for over a year. Not only is she dependable and trustworthy, she has an amazing ability to connect with dogs and determine their needs, likes and dislikes. She is very observant and lets us know of anything unusual with Sadie while she is there. Most of all, she and Sadie have a mutual bond and all I have to say is “Maddy’s coming!” and Sadie is all smiles and wags.
— Meredith B (client)
Maddy and I have been friends for a few years and worked together at DAWG. She is one of the kindest and most compassionate people I know. We have a special bond and that is our love for dogs. Maddy has experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds and age groups. She is a gentle touch with all dogs, but especially the seniors. She dog sits for me and I have 3 special needs senior dogs. I trust her completely to care for them while I work very long days. I also know I can trust her in my home which is important as I am a very private person. I give Maddy my highest recommendation!
— Rebecca G. (client & friend)
For a young woman, Maddy S has great experience caring for dogs. Perhaps it is her gentle nature and patience that attracts dogs to her: in Maddy the dogs see a person they can trust. My female Chow-mix had a very difficult puppy-hood, suffering both neglect and abuse. Maddy is one of the few people my dog trusts enough to love. Besides my husband and myself, Maddy is the only person my dog allows to take her for a walk.
Maddy has excellent instincts about dogs and their needs. Additionally, she is a very responsible person who I feel lucky to have as both house sitter and dog sitter. She has my highest recommendation!
— Carol H. (client)

"This service is amazing. I was concerned about finding a pet/house sitter for my dog after my daughter moved out of town. My dog is very needy and nervous, but there was no problem at all as Maddy is a very caring and intuitive pet sitter. My dog Pico adores her. Maddy is very conscientious, professional, takes Pico for walks and plays with him. I feel very comfortable when I leave my dog/house in the care of Pawsitive Pet Sitting SB!" -Laura C. (client)

Maddy really won over our Sage in record time. Our daughter was really jealous! And we loved the updates while we were on the road. I hate to share Maddy, it’s hard to find someone like her.-Tim J (client)
Maddy has been great and we are very glad to have found her. Our pets adore her and we are happy to be able to go out of town and not worry about them or our house while Away. We enjoy getting daily updates and photos of them while away. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.-Merrie B. (Client)
Maddy is the best! I’ve known her since 1997, and she is a true animal-whiperer.-Carrie C. (Neighbor)
